CHUM Co-op Preschool is a non-profit, educational and developmental program for young children. We are owned and operated by the parents of those attending, and are licensed by the state of Michigan. CHUM has no religious affiliation. Our preschool has been in operation since 1970.
CHUM Philosophy
We believe children learn best through play and hands-on activities. Through purposeful classroom arrangement and planning developmentally appropriate activities, the children will be meaningfully engaged in play with their peers while attending CHUM Preschool.

We believe in learning through play. These hands-on activities build self-esteem, encourage creative expression and curiosity, and stimulate decision making and problem solving. Your child will be guided through these activities in accordance with their social, emotional and physical readiness.
